D.R. is a 49 year old man with chronic low back pain and intermittent sciatic pain.
Very active physically – likes to surf. Has had two microdiscectomy surgeries in the past but continues to have constant pain interfering with even the most basic activities of life. After failing extensive non-operative treatment including physical therapy we decided to proceed with artificial disc replacement.
